You know how the idle time you spend waiting on a print to be done? Yeah, for me that’s a large chunk of my time wasted. I could have been interacting with my customers with all that time instead. When you’re printing large banners from 40 to 44 inches, it is bound to take a lot of time, and it is really necessary for you to go check the quality of the print every now and then or else you need to start all over again, and that is a very big waste considering you’re printing large scale billboards. Also, the thing about billboards is that most of the time two or three large sheets are required to be printed interconnected with each other. This means you have to manually load up the printer again, and this takes careful hands and al lot of time as well.

We own a tarpaulin and billboard printing shop here in Sydney, and we’re glad to have quite a lot of customers trusting us and the work we do. We just wish we could give them shorter turnaround times and connect with them more, but we always need to be hands on when producing prints. This is why when one of our printers broke down, we decided to get a more advanced type so we can upgrade the quality and efficiency of both out work and the prints we produce.

Some colleagues of mine from business school told me to always check a printer’s reviews online. When I saw this HP Designjet T1300 44-in PostScript e-printer I was really impressed. In the past, I rejected one customer because his document was not compatible to our printer, and that was potential income lost. I learned after that that his document needed PostScript printing language, and our printer did not support that. So when I read thru the description of this e-Printer I was really glad. But the feature that really sold me was the smart two-roll switching and fast printing speed. This is really worth a try!
