I am an interior designer while my dad is an architect. My dad used to work at a firm, but he retired early. We wanted to collaborate and start a business basing on the nature of my job – as an interior designer. This plan of ours almost went downhill around half a year after we started it as my old 24-inch printer broke down. I didn’t know why it broke down when I have just been using it for around 3 years or so. The printer repair man said it needed new spare parts, but when I shopped for those specific parts, the prices were too unreasonable. So we decided to get a new 24-inch printer to keep our business going.

The specific qualities and features my architect dad was looking for in a printer was easy large-format printing capability, a front-loading media roll, and a good built-in tray for reasons of convenience. I, on the other hand, was looking for an outstanding Wi-Fi connectivity so I will find it easy to access and print large-format documents using various gadgets like my smartphone, laptop or tab. I also wanted one with an intuitive printer colored touchscreen with a true print preview so that I can easily make last minute changes to the color themes and other miscellaneous things on my design before printing them.

My designer friends told me to check online to read testimonials of other customers on the printer I wanted. I saw this HP DesignJet T120 printer here and it was like a perfect match for everything I mentioned above. And the best part was it includes free delivery, set-up and installation here in Sydney so I don’t need to read the set-up manual like a crazed person. If you’re into the same industry as me, you should consider getting this printer for both personal and corporate uses.
