    :

Any Mac and Linux users will know that not all normal PCL printers is compatible with the produced documents of these certain operating system. Usually, only the Windows OS is compatible with all PCL printers, but not Mac and Linux. It gets really frustrating and expensive to go to printing shops every single time we need to get our professional reports printed out.

So my crew and I decided to get our very own printer. We work in the office of an engineering firm so we need to use different kinds of operating systems and software to produce great quality prints. The engineers of today has many software at their disposal, and printing them is quite the challenge since we won’t know what to expect. It might be some blueprint of large proportions or a complicated diagram of some sort that’s made thru AutoCAD drivers. So we were on the hunt for a great PostScript printer that can support most of our technical, office and photo applications. We were just looking for a refurbished model as to cut costs.

We saw this HP Designjet 500 Series 42-inch printer online on this website (since we can’t actually order one personally since we are based from a small town a few miles away from the main city) so we checked the reviews and specifications. So far, we mostly saw positive reviews so we tried it out. So far it has been the best purchase we have ever done as long as printers are concerned. It is very flexible to the point that even the most simple to the most complicated of products can be produced of high 1200 x 600 dpi quality. It is also speedy at 85 square feet per hour on its fast mode so we can give a shorter turnaround time for our firm engineers. If you’re looking for speed, quality and flexibility, this is your best bet.
