1 review for KIP 890 Multi-Touch Color Print System

  1. Rated 5 out of 5

The CAD environments of today are more challenging than ever. Complicated files and powerful software are now the norms in the construction, architecture, product design, and manufacturing industries. Hence, you can understand the high demand for sophisticated plotters to meet the needs of these companies. KIP certainly does not disappoint with their 890 model that boasts of outstanding capabilities.

    Productivity

Like the other models in the 800 series, the 890 is recognised for being a speedster. It has an impressive print speed of 8 D or A1-size sheets per minute. This is perfectly complemented by its 12-inch Smart System Touchscreen that offers simple navigation through the different modes and settings. Now you don’t need to worry about tinkering around to get your machine to print your documents exactly how you want it to.

    Versatility

The 890 is not called a multi-function printer for nothing. It has an integrated 2300 CCD scanner so you can easily make copies of existing prints. By default, it has the standard front stacking tray but it does give you the option to upgrade with rear stacking or the KIPFold. This means that you can fill it with up to 4 rolls so you won’t have to reload media as frequently.

    Innovation

As you would expect from built-in printer software, the management suite enables you to monitor the status of your production. If you want to know if you need to refill the tanks or paper, you can just find out on the display. Then again, the 890 is more than basic, which is why it has Windows and AutoCAD drivers to support a wide array of files.

If you want to save on valuable project time, you won’t go wrong with a multi-function printer. The KIP 890 Multi-Touch Colour Print System is a great example as it simplifies complex scanning, copying, and printing processes.
