This is the printer I’ve been looking for to complete my CAD and GIS projects. Perfect for line drawing, I’ve seen it produce a wide spectrum of colors. And when it comes to color graphics, I’ve got nothing to complain about. In case you’re delivering your plans in black or gray, this printer outputs very accurate lines and drawings.

If you’re in a busy architectural studio, you may want to consider this printer for its speed—A1/D-size prints are produced in 21 seconds or less. The printer seems to handle complex files very efficiently (I think this has something to do with its 64 GB virtual memory because, usually, the higher the memory is, the better the performance for all computing devices).

This printer has a 320 GB hard disk, which is where I’m storing my sketches for quick printing.
I tried printing from my Android smartphone, and I tell you, this introduces unprecedented convenience levels. They’re also supporting connectivity via tablets and USB drives, so you don’t always have to go to your PC or connect the printer to any centralized server to start printing your designs.

The supported resolution is no luxury to me—it’s a feature I need so that I’m able to convey my designs and sketches accurately. Thankfully, up to 2400 dpi is possible with the printer.

I like my work processes organized, from design to the final print out, and this printer plays its part extremely well. It comes with an output stacking tray (may handle up to 50 pages) that outputs well-leveled images.

The price is relatively fair, considering the multiple functional benefits you’re getting in the end.
